Can see mouse after installing latest Wineq 2

Post by woagar » Fri Oct 28, 2005 12:33 pm

Now I can see the mouse but I cannot click anything. Before I could not see the mouse at all, but could click things as I could see buttons being highlighted. After downloading the lastest from the lavishsoft.com website I can see the mouse but can't click anything at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Update

This is happening with EQ 1, forgot to mention that earlier.

Used tab and enter to get past the initial login part. Once actually logged in and at the character selection screen the mouse seems to work correctly. After choosing my character and entering the world all seems to work correctly so it looks like just during initial start and login that left clicking is not working.

EQ is likely itself in full-screen mode. Hit alt+enter and this issue should go away. We will be working to fix this issue asap

EQ doesnt seem to work well in full screen mode, by itself at least, on its own.

It slows to a crawl. You have to wait for the cursor to move.

This is in high res like 1920x1200.

It must be with the new patch.

I cant even use wineq2 atm

Post by litterbaux » Fri Oct 28, 2005 6:51 pm

Im getting 5 FPS and some serious lag. It took me 20 mins just to log in, that is including the alt enter trick to actually get in. Even at 5 fps i cant move when in the game, it seems locked up. Here is my sysinfo, i have all the new drivers for my vid card. Another note, when running the normal everquest.exe i have no problems what so ever.

Thanks,
Litter

I pushed a minor WinEQ 2 patch moments ago that removes some leftover debugging I had in from testing the mouse changes. Restart WinEQ 2 and let it patch on any machine you're having performance problems on
