hellooo.
i see that the patch now has made the mouse usable again (following the eq patch)..thank you for working on this so diligently. I am still unable to change window sizes (i use one puter/one monitor and run 3 accounts, so i like to slightly overlap the windows, manually adjusting them so that i can see a bit of each window behind the top-most). you are likely aware of this, but thought i would post just in case.
in the meantime, though, please accept my condolences on the loss of your grandfather. take care of your family.
can't change window sizes

Confirming the above. It's actually quite odd. I run three different profiles, each with three different resolutions. The one using the normal eqclient.ini is at 1280x1024, while the other two are 800x600 and 640x480. Attempting to run any of the three results in a 1280x1024 window. Now what makes it odd is that if I change the 1280x1024 in the default eqclient.ini to something else, I still get the 1280x1024 window on all three profiles, despite having that setting in none of the three profiles. I'm running on a 1600x1200 desktop resolution, so I'm not quite sure where it's grabbing that number from...
I was having this problem too with I first loaded up WinEQ and tried to run EQ. I found a solution however and my WinEQ is now running as it used to in the resolution I want it in.
I have a different EQClient.ini for each profile I run, so my initial attempts at running EQ directly didnt' help lol.
What I found in my custom EQClient.ini file was some additional entries concerning the resolution.
[VideoMode]
Width=1280
Height=960
WidthWindowed=1280
HeightWindowed=960
BitsPerPixel=32
RefreshRate=0
WinEQWidth=1280
WinEQHeight=960
WindowedWidth=1280
WindowedHeight=960
FullscreenWidth=1280
FullscreenHeight=960
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
The ones in bold are the new ones and they had a different resolution than the entries above. Once I corrected these and then reset my desktop back to it's proper resolution, voila! WinEQ now appears to run properly as it should.
