Err.... actually it has just always happened. Is there an issue you're having with the auto-release?

I patched WinEQ 2 twice today, so it might prove fruitful for you to restart WinEQ 2

The only time it should ever open new WinEQs is if you hit the hotkey to open a new session -- which by default is CTRL+ALT+N. Are you hitting that? You can disable the hotkey in the WinEQ 2 Preferences system under EverQuest, Hotkeys by changing the hotkey text to "NONE"

This should be fixed as of now in the current WinEQ 2 patch
2.10 - 8/29/2005 pt 3
- EverQuest 1
* Fixed issue with sticky keys when switching sessions
Restart WinEQ, let it patch up, and letm e know if you continue to have problems

ya it was causing some sort of stickicking it seems better now since turned off the ctrl + alt + N guessing some sort of delay was causing it to stick with the N and Z keys for me when i would try and type on window that zoned first . Thanks a ton for that information.

Today's patch (2.10 - 8/30/2005) fixed the other side of the "sticky keys" issue, so make sure to update WinEQ again
