I've been using WinEQ2 for about a month now and I'm still trying to get the hang of it. The only problem I've had so far was after the latest patch. I box 2 accounts in EQ1. I have both sessions running in 1280x512 mode. Before the patch I would launch both sessions and then move the second session to the bottom part of the screen. I did this by pressing the Windows Key (not sure that it is the correct name for the key but it is the one located between the Ctrl and the Alt keys which brings up the start menu) and then left clicking on the sessions title bar. For some reason this no longer works. Could you please help me out? Is there an easier way for me to do this? What I'd like to happen is that upon launching both sessions the first appear at the top of the screen and the second at the bottom of the screen without having to move them manually. I apologize for not posting my system info as I'm posting this from work. If you require it, I can post it later on tonight.
Thanks in advanced,
Dart

Nope this is simple enough that I dont need your system info.
I'll give you solutions for two things, one of which is the windows key not working for you like it did before, and one is not having to move your screens manually.
1) Using the windows key to move the windows is kind of a half-assed solution to the fact that EverQuest "captures" your mouse -- this is why you cant just move the pointer off the screen. Hitting the windows key effectively does an automatic release of the mouse, and it will then be automatically re-captured when you click on the window again. The difference now from before is that the window isnt locking itself up when you move it, and EQ is recapturing the mouse. The solution is to manually release and recapture the mouse. The default hotkey for this is SCROLL LOCK, but this is configurable.
2) All you need to do to not have to move the window yourself each time is to create a "preset" for the window where you want it. You can do this by moving the window where you want, then shift+right click and select "Store Window Settings" in the menu that pops up. This will bring up a "Save Window Settings" box. Select the preset to replace (usually this would be an empty preset, such as "Preset 4"), and name it. Then you have three or so options for using your new preset.
Option 1: Each time you launch the game, shift+right click, and under Presets, select your preset. The preset will be applied.
Option 2: Set a hotkey for your preset in the WinEQ 2 preferences window under EverQuest, Presets
Option 3: (This is probably the one you will prefer) Create a new profile for the session you want to put on the bottom through the Preferences window -- make sure to name it so it's available in the list! Set the "Default Preset" to your preset, and it will automatically be applied when you launch the game
I tried to be as clear as possible, so let me know if you have remaining questions or cant figure out how to do something
