Picture in picture questions

Post by sorrowgate » Wed Aug 24, 2005 6:03 pm

I have picture in picture turned on in all the places the setting is found. Despite this, I am not getting the feature. Is it only triggered when one window is in fullscreen emulation and other game is under it? I have tried all the permutations I can think of. I would like to use it while full screen with one game. I have 2 EQ1 accounts, and had WoW running in a third tiled window with no problems, and lees lag than I normally have had running one EQ1 account alone. I have been able to turn all character models back on, and sound too. This on an Athlon 2.2Ghz with 1 meg of ram and a 80 gig hard drive, with an Nvidia 4200/128mb ram.. The PIP would be nice to have, and it seems to be the only thing I doo not have avaiulable.

Thank you

Which places have you found? ;)

1.2) How can I turn on Picture-in-Picture?
Picture-in-Picture (PIP) must be enabled in two separate places -- the tray menu, and for each profile (or individual window). This is so PIP can be turned off entirely by changing a single setting, and so PIP can be disabled for specific profiles or windows. If you would like to enable PIP for all windows, first enable the global setting found in the tray menu's Options submenu. Then, for each profile you use, turn on "Allow Picture-in-Picture". If the change does not take effect immediately, simply restart each session and PIP will be used.
What happens with WinEQ 2 PIP is when you switch windows, the one that you are switching FROM becomes the picture window in the new main window. WinEQ 2 only supports 1 picture window because of internal limitations. Inner Space support any number of picture windows, as will WinEQ 3 (since it's going to be a stripped down Inner Space anyway).
