Second box on other monitor goes out of view

Post by jakevsnake » Thu Aug 11, 2005 8:48 pm

I have a problem with my second instance of EQ1 going out of view on my other monitor once I select the server to log into. Up to that point it is perfectly in view.. Weird.. I never had this problem til a couple weeks ago. It shoves the window so far to the right that I cannot drag it back. Please help :)

Hmm.. I will see if I can reproduce this bug. You're using WinEQ 2's monitor selection and not EQ's, on both profiles, correct? I see the one in this particular sysinfo.txt is set to Primary. It's the secondary one that's screwing up I assume?

Quick update. I have tried uninstalling WINEQ2 and redownloading it, then installing a fresh copy. No luck. I also reinstalled my video drivers, no luck. I then deleted that instance of EQ from my computer and copied it from a working drive with no luck. Not sure why this is messing up but its almost to the point where I may have to give up on it. Sometimes I can drag the window back into view but this isnt very often.

Oh, simple workaround for now. SHIFT+ALT+R will move the window back to the upper left corner of the correct monitor for you. I'm working on solving the issue right now though.
