Hey Lax Im still getting the can not output innerspace.exe error and the buffer underrun wtih dl.exe.
Code: Select all
dl.exe
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:0547 IP:03d8 OP:63 3d 22 68 74 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
Code: Select all
Could not output file InnerSpace.exe. It may be in use. Make sure all Lavish Software products are shut down and wait 5 minutes (or reboot) before trying again. Hitting OK will cause the patcher to skip this file, but the software will try to patch it again until it is patched successfully.

I have been meaning to get around to fixing this crash, but it doesn't crash if the program is closed and the files can be written so most people dont experience it at all.
It is fixed as of next update. In the meantime just make sure it can write to InnerSpace.exe

Thats the odd thing... I close the program and even tried restarting the PC. I have noticed that when I run innerspace.exe it appears to start two processes named Innerspae.exe. I don't know if this is normal, but right now I can't patch/run the program at all.

Oh man, im having some bad times here. I can not run or uninstall InnerSpace. In addition, i get that DL.EXE error every time I boot up. Running innerspace seems to wack out my winsock now too, so I have to reboot after an unsuccessful patch... Also, every time I try to patch now, it gives me the "Innerspace is only available to registered users on lavishsoft.com" or whatever...
Lax, I want to manually remove IS and reinstall, but I'm having a hard time finding the keys for it.

Awesome bumping a thread from 4 years ago!
Are you running Vista or Windows 7? Is UAC enabled? When you launch Inner Space, does it pop up a prompt asking you for permissions? Do you click Yes?
Did you move Inner Space from where it was installed to? Is innerspace.exe marked as read only? Is there an error number with your message?
