Says Eqplaynice is outdated... then will cause EQ to crash.. anyone else having this problem since the patch today?

I am experiencing the same issue. I get the outdated version message other people have reported in the eqplaynice forum and then general eq crash. Eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Disabling EQPN made it for me.

Options >>> Preferences >>> Everquest >>> General >>>EQPlayNice

hmm i have the same problem, i went to eq options and turned off EQplaynice. EQ is still crashing on me, anyone have any suggestions what i should do from this point?

you try disableing it then restarting wineq?
