Everquest 2 boxing

Post by graul » Fri Jun 17, 2005 1:27 pm

I am having some trouble getting my screens set up properly for two boxing. What I want is to have two screens displayed at the same time. I don't know if I want side by side yet or one on top, one on bottom. I have not gotten them right yet to make that decision. I am sure it is possible but my inexperience with this program is what is holding me up. I was hoping for some tips on exactly how to set this up. Could someone maybe give me some directions on how this needs to be done please?

Will post underneath with my sysinfo.txt file. I run my desktop at 1280 x 1024.

Thanks in advance.

It's actually quite simple. WinEQ 2 adds resolutions to the in-game options system. Two of the resolutions are exactly half of the real estate on your screen. With 1280x1024, that means one will be 640x1024, and one will be 1280x512. What you do is log all the way into the game, hit Alt+O, click the Display tab, and select the resolution you want to try. The two described above are going to be what you're looking for

Let me know if you need more help :)

Yep, I did that and now I feel really dumb. It just never dawned on me. While my screen does shrink down, the UI does not. Everything is still super huge, so I can't see anything. I kept thinking that the WinEQ2 Pro would automatically shrink everything down to fit the new screen size and that I was doing something wrong. Guess it doesn't do anything with the custom UI's. Is there perhaps some good UI's that you can download for screens of this size?
