How to start EQ2 with extra commands?

Post by gistane » Fri Jun 17, 2005 4:01 am

Hey

I have an issue with EQ2 that when i start it the EULA loads 2 times. Apparently i can fix this by making a shortcut then going in and changing the target to "%Install Dir%\EverQuest II\EQ2.exe" /env:usmain /lang:en_US which works well if i was to just run EQ2 straight now the issue is i use WINEQ2. How do I make it run something like this with WINEQ2? All i can see is that you tell it where eq2 is installed not what file to run

Is there a way i can do this?

Not with WinEQ 2, but you could do it quite easily with Inner Space, if you want to try that.

If you want to stay with WinEQ 2, your choices are either a) run the patcher, or b) run the main game directly. If one has a problem, you have to use the other. I realize that can be inconvenient, but is the design of the software since not everyone knows exactly how to run EQ2 directly, etc.

WinEQ 3 will be developed, probably in a few months, based on Inner Space and will be more configurable.

Tried Innerspace and dont like it.

The fonts for the FPS and memory indicator look discusting compared to those used in EQ2 i think that was my main issue :-)
