Can't select Preferences or any menu

Just installed WinEQ2 on my laptop (works fine on my desktop). WinEQ installs properly, get the incon in the taskbar. It accepts my ID/password and shows me as logged in.

I can't, however, break out any menu (Preferences, Everquest, etc..) Clicking or hovering on them doesn't do ANYTHING.

There is also no sysinfo.txt in my wineq2 directory for me to post. I'm sure it's something trivial, but I can't figure it out.

What version of windows is on your laptop? Does it have all windows updates?

Windows XP SP1, with all Windows Updates applied. Corporate policy (yeah, this comp does "double" duty) prevents me from loading SP2. Regular EQ works just fine.

Interesting that corporate policy prevents you from loading SP2

The only real issue I've known of with the context menu was with the context menu delay set to infinite (or any other arbitrarily long amount of time), but I think that should be fixed in WinEQ 2.08. The delay can be changed using TweakUI.
