eq1 post patch- crashing while playing...

Post by arcani » Tue Apr 12, 2005 11:02 pm

Crashing anywhere from 1 min to 5 min in. Regardless of whether 1 or 2 client running. Confirmed that eqplaynice was updated.

When crashes get everquest.exe crash message.

No issues pre-patch.

Well, the only problem I'm having with this issue is that it's the only post all day reporting a problem, and if it was flat out not working, there would be dozens and dozens of posts. So I have to look at this as if something went wrong on your system with the EQ patch -- particularly when noting that neither WinEQ nor EQPlayNice required an actual update. Have you tried re-patching EQ to make sure all of the files are correctly patched? Does this happen without WinEQ entirely?

Ok. I did see some posts on the official EQ tech forums from some people with similar issues, so that might be your best bet :(
