Sticky Right Shift
Not sure what all you'd need for this, but its a problem that I've always had with both WinEQ 1 and WinEQ 2. If I use my right shift key for anything while using either program, it tends to thik the shift key is continually pressed and I have to press it again in order for it to be released.. I have tried with IS, but I can't get it to work with the "special" ini file for the eq settings I want, so have not messed with it much to tell if it also occurs there.

What's really funny is that this topic has been brought up on Steel Warriors, Runes, Concert Hall, and even MQ2 boards. I think the general consensus was that it was EQ's "problem" and I don't think any one corrilated the issue to being a winEQ issue.I figured ages ago that this might be an issue, but nobody reported it so I assumed it wasnt a problem. I'll see what I can do
ohhhh, the irony.

On all the boards I read back when I played EQ the general idea to reproduce it was to hit the shift key on the right side of the keyboard and "sometimes" it would act stuck. When the shift key was hit again the problem would go away.
I don't play EQ any longer but it only seemed to happen when running MQ2 and since my MQ2 boxs were normally bots I rarely used the keyboard except for using the shift / up arrows to scroll through messages. So maybe it had something to do with shift + arrow keys.

Yep, I tried and failed
If it's a problem with EQ and not WinEQ as you mentioned before, you really have to rely on SOE for a fix. I could make guesses all day long, but the only real answers have to come from them. My best guess is that the problem comes from the separation of the keys, and they are incorrectly handling the right-side key in a certain case
