Unable to load everquest 2

I am unable to load EQ2 through IS. I was able to last night but when I attempted it this morning nothing happened. This evening I attempted to load again and still nothing happened but when I patched (for beta server and just to see if it would work) then I tried loading it and it pulled the game up for beta server w/o any issues. I haven't changed anything in the config tab or any other tabs in IS. This isn't the first time this has happened but normally by now it's worked usually. Any help would be awesome!

Most likely:
1. open up regedit.exe (Windows+R to bring up the run program window if needed, type in regedit.exe)
2. navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
3. look for an entry here for everquest2.exe or eq2.exe, and delete it
