[WoW] Problem launching additional slots in char set

Post by thiassi » Sat Oct 16, 2010 11:38 am

I've been using Innerspace+ISBoxer fine for a long time but today I've encountered an issue with launching a character set.

I have previously been using only US accounts in my character sets but today I wanted to create a new char set with two EU accounts.

Ok, so [slot1] (EU) will launch fine but [slot2] (or any additional slot) will not launch at all.

The console is showing this:
|
| 17:10:41 ISBoxer: Preparing to launch Character Set 'New Character Set'
| 17:10:42 ISBoxer: Settings imported from ISBoxerToolkit.GeneralSettings.XML
| 17:10:42 ISBoxer: Making sure Characters in Character Set 'New Character Set' are
valid...
| 17:10:42 ISBoxer: Good!
| 17:10:42 ISBoxer: Launching Character Set 'New Character Set' ...
| 17:10:42 ISBoxer: Launching Slot 1 Character 'Ardrahl-Xavius'
| 17:13:42 ISBoxer: Character from Set 'New Character Set' not fully launched after 3
minutes. Select again to continue launching additional slots.
| 17:13:42 ISBoxer: Instructions completed.
|
\====================================================
Trying to launch the char set again, as the console suggest, does force [slot2] to launch but it ignores the window layout so I have two full screen instances on my primary monitor instead of the second instance being auto-set on the secondary display.

Now the odd thing is if I replace [slot1] with a US account (for launch testing purposes only) and leave [slot2] as a EU account both slots will launch correctly according to the Window Layout.

FYI: the way I'm switching between US and EU is by amending the "realmlist.wtf" which works fine when just playing WoW on a single char.

So, is there a known issue with US & EU accounts running off the same InnerSpace install?

Will I need to create a completely separate WoW install for a EU install together with a seperate IS+ISBoxer install for it?

Many thanks in advance.

Forgot I had enabled DX11.

Thanks for the info. :)

On a brighter note, reinstalling Innerspace has resolved an ongoing issue I had with my G11 keys not showing within ISBoxer so not a completely wasted effort today. ;)
