Mouse Function - IS & EQ1

Post by eolewis » Sun Jul 11, 2010 7:09 am

I have started noticing a new problem with Everquest when I'm boxing using IS and ISBoxer. I'm not complaining too much because the original problem would cause one window to "disappear" if you accidentally minimized the window. Lately, when I caught myself doing it, when I brought the window back up, it still displayed the game instead of showing me the desktop. Good step in the right direction. The problem now, however, is that the mouse does not interact with the window. Instead of the EQ cursor, I have the Windows Cursor. I even opened up the console in game and the mouse does not interact with it either. The only way I have found to fix this is to log off and log back onto the account.

On a possibly related subject, I have noticed I lose mouse control on one window when I am first loading the accounts. This happens when I am entering my log-in info and the 2nd account loads up. I have to alt-tab to get the window I wanted first to log onto a server then alt tab back to the 2nd account and it will once in awhile lose mouse control the same as above.

And yes, before I started the post, I did try hitting F12 to activate/deactivate Mouse Control to no avail.

I am having this exact same problem. The mouse is completely detached from the game and shows the white Windows cursor instead of the ingame cursor. When I activate a window, I can type in it, but the mouse is detached and I cannot do anything ingame with the mouse. Restarting EQ is the only way I've found to fix it.

No edit button... Just wanted to add that I never had this problem until the latest update to IS.
