Innerspace Character Sets not loading.

Post by OzHawkeye » Wed Apr 07, 2010 8:11 am

Just in the last day or two, I've noticed a problem with Innerspace failing to load my Wow (5-boxing) clients properly.

When I go to Innerspace, then the "ISBoxer Character Sets" and set my 5-paladin character set the following happens:

1. Only the main window loads, and only in the default windowed position (not the layout position as specified).

2. I then have to close that window.

3. I re-select the menu option to kick off the loading process (1 screen on top, the 4 followers below it), and again only the 1st main window will load, but at least this time expands to fill the portion of the screen my screen layout requires.

4. I then re-select the menu option for a third time, and this then kicks off the 4 follower screens loading.

It was a coin-toss as to whether to post this as an Innerspace issue here, or an ISBoxer issuer on ISBoxer.com (I guess it could be something in the screen layout???) but it seems to be more of an Innerspace issue I'm thinking.

If there's additional information I need to post, I would be happy to do so.

I can't think of anything that changed - and certainly nothing in Innerspaces configuration - that kicked off this behaviour, up until 2 days ago, selecting the Character Set from Innerspace loaded all 5 screens without any issues.

When a window loads and doesn't move into position, ISBoxer won't continue launching more because something went wrong in the first one. To see what the problem was, hit ` in the game window (or F12 if you dont have that key) to bring up the in-game IS console (not the same as the out of game one you bring up by selecting Console from the IS menu) and see if it indicates a problem. It'd be at or near the very bottom so you shouldn't have to look hard.

Figured it out at last. :-)

My keys to turn toggle keyboard and mouse broadcast were set to "all windows". When I set them to the current only, all was good.

This means the toggle can be turned only when the major window has focus.

I also have this problem, is there a step by step tutorial on how to fix this?
