Inner space + logitech mouse & ventrillo
Hi. I am new to inner Space. At first I had some problem setting up to play wow with inner space because there aren't a lot of detailed documentation for setting up that I can find. I finally just used the wizard to set up 4 toons and it's working really nicely. However, right off, I've found that buttons 4 & 5 on my mouse does not work. I use these buttons for a lot of various things, to not to be able to use them is mildly distressing. I haven't gotten to the point where it's critical but I'm sure it will be soon enough. Is there a way to fix this? I've cruised through part of the forums but have not found a solution.
Also, the PTT key for ventrillo doesn't work when my focus is on the wow window. I have to tab out to a non-wow program in order for PTT to work so I can talk to people. That's not just mildly annoying, especially during an intense battle. This is true of the mouse buttons 4 & 5, the work outside of wow even when wow is still running but not in focus.
I currently use 2 monitors with wow set up on both screens with the leader on one screen & 3 others on the other. My keyboard & mouse is the logitech MX5500 mouse/kb wireless combo. I also use a wolfking gaming kb and recently added the logitech G13 gaming kb but have not set it up to use properly yet.
The setup is pretty much the wizard setup with a couple modified dps keys.
Thanks. I'd appreciate any help in this area and also if there is a more detailed documentation on the use of IS & ISboxer, I'd appreciate a point to the right direction.
Thanks.

You will need to run Ventrilo and Logitech Setpoint as Administrator, in order for those programs to interact with the game. This is because Inner Space is running as Administrator, and therefore runs the game as Administrator, and Windows wont let non-Administrator programs interact with it.
Setpoint probably runs at system startup, which confuses many people -- you can kill the process in the taskmanager (setpoint.exe) if it's not in the system tray, and then find it (probably in Program Files\Logitech Setpoint, or something like that) and right click then Run as Administrator.
The issue as it relates to Ventrilo is described directly below the ISBoxer download, under "Using Windows Vista or Windows 7?", saying:

As far as more detailed documentation on ISBoxer, http://www.lavishsoft.com/wiki/index.php/IS:ISBoxer is where it's at. There's a FAQ page, a "Getting Started" page that provides very detailed information on creating anything, game-specific pages, and videos. If there's something that isn't documented in detail, I would love for you to tell me what you need more information on so that I can provide it for you.If you use Ventrilo, you will also need to run that as Administrator for your push to talk key to work (otherwise, Ventrilo will not have permission while the game is active).
Ok. Your solution fixed the problem I've had with the mouse & ventrillo, however, I have concerns of ventrillo running as administrator because my anti virus program keeps saying that it's suspicious of being a key logger. It may or not be the case but I'd like to be on the safe side. Would it be a problem if I don't run IS as administrator?
By design, both IS and ISBoxer will pop up the Administrator yes/no box. Reasons why it would not pop up include:
1. Not running Windows Vista or later (in which case none of the above would apply)
2. Administrator access permanently granted
3. User Account Control (UAC) disabled in Windows
4. Limited user account is not allowed Administrator
There might be more reasons, but those are the ones that come to mind. If you have other security software installed, it may have changed the usual UAC behavior
