That is good news for Aion's player base. It has been demonstrated that GameGuard was ineffective during the open beta, by virtue of being easily disabled. So instead of preventing cheating, hacks, etc, all it was doing was annoying the normal players, and in some cases preventing them from playing at all (e.g. on Windows 7).
And GameGuard was (and is) harmful to those who want to multibox. This is a pretty harmless activity that NCSoft is interested in quashing. It helps that if multiboxing Aion is fun they stand to increase their profit per customer, and generate positive buzz.
With that said, I am still working on making Inner Space work with Aion. I think it is feasible, but will take me some time to get it right. My time is spread between a handful of things right now, and this is one of those things (and so is the next generation of software). I can't promise that Inner Space will work with Aion on launch day, but I'm working on getting it done as soon as possible.
