eq2 lags on mouse movement in windows 7

hi, i know, i'm not reporting this as a bug cuz windows 7 is still in beta. i was just wondering if anyone else has windows 7 and has tried to run eq2 and innerspace, even without loading isxeq2, any mouse movement makes the game lock up while the mouse is in movement. if you re-launch everquest 2 without innerspace running the problem goes away. anyone have any idea what might be causing this?(i know i know, go back to a non-beta os... i don't want to. i like windows 7 dag-nabit, and don't have vista and am completely fed up with xp and anything prior. linux isn't an option cuz i'm lazy, i don't want to type 50k sudo apt get blah blah. and still have to use a windows shell inside linux to play eq2.... redunant to me)

i know its not eq2 but i played vanguard for hours the other night on win7 x64 with no problems at all

I'm using Windows 7 x64 as well, and not having any issues (but also playing a different game -- WoW). This is the first I've heard of it, and I'm absolutely sure that other people are using Windows 7 with EQ2. I'll ask around.

It must be something else. I asked in an IS-related channel full of EQ2 users as follows:

I'd start shutting down other programs, updating drivers (particularly video driver), etc
