Sometimes my mouse buttons work, sometimes not

i have a couple xtra mouse keys which i have mapped via mouse software to be - and = Most times it works, but once in a while IS playing WoW won't see the mouse clicks for those buttons.
usually a restart fixes it, just wondering if anyone had similar issue and what they found to fix it, short of restart?

Sounds unlikely to me. Have you tried tapping ctrl, alt, and shift to make sure one of them wasnt inadvertently stuck down or something?

That could be, my keyboard gets the old can o soda spill at times.
