Hey all,
It is late and I must be missing something. There are screenshots and videos all over the Lavish site with cool multi-box setups for WoW.
As an example:
http://www.lavishsoft.com/joomla/index. ... &Itemid=34
I want to replicate that. Where are the instructions for setting that up?
Thanks,
~ B
PS. Flame me if ya gotta, but I paid my money, would like a point in the right direction. I've looked for an hour and all I see are the "working" versions, no setup info.
Need World of Warcraft guide

Well, setup is insanely easy, all you have to know is how you want it to be
Come on IRC (http://embed.mibbit.com/?server=irc.lav ... 25963b39f2), you can get live help from myself and others
Do you know which files it is that you're concerned about WoW corrupting? My setup uses a different Config.WTF file for each character (using a Virtual File via ISBoxer Toolkit), and I use the same WoW folder. If you prefer to keep separate folders that's fine -- you CAN do it by using Add Game, however the preferred way would be to add a profile for the game for each folder instead. To do so, go into the IS Configuration window, and under Game Configuration, select World of Warcraft. Then click the "New Profile" button, give the profile a name, and set the exe and path fields.
I'm getting new videos ready to show how to get everything configured, so fear not

I sure don't make multiple copies because I love to update wow * 6 all the time (yes, I have a different copy for my auction toons). I have had corruptions in the past (using Keyclone), but I never got the exact file nailed down, so to be safe, I just copied all of them. Not having to do that would be a Godsend.Lax wrote:Do you know which files it is that you're concerned about WoW corrupting? I'm open for any suggestion/help with installing. I'll hop on IRC. Any time better or worse to find help? (I'm Pacific {Seattle} time).
Would love to beta the new vids for you.

PS. I've heard mention of bots and such hiding behind IS, but I've also heard that multi-boxing is 100% legal according to Blizzard. I know MMOGlider is having issues with Blizzard. Are they, BLIZZARD, looking your way, or is your "stock" product cool with the EULA (and plans to stay that way?)? Thanks
I see you made it to IRC last night after I was asleep
I'm EST and usually done around midnight. Usually other people are around with some answers if I'm not -- luck of the draw last night.
1. Right click on Virtual Files, click New
2. Name it Config.WTF, because that is the file to virtualize
3. Add each Character by click & drag
4. Select each Character and in the box that comes up, name it something different, e.g. Config-MyCharacter.WTF (or MyAccount and use for all characters on the account)
5. If you want to retain your old settings, go to each WoW folder and copy WTF\Config.WTF to the main WoW\WTF folder, rename to the filename you made up. There is also an Accounts folder in WTF, you can merge all of those into the main WoW\WTF\Accounts
That sums it up

Fair enough. The only file I have found concerning is Config.WTF. I have a video segment I need to narrate for that (hopefully today if my 4.5 month old lets me), but basically:I sure don't make multiple copies because I love to update wow * 6 all the time (yes, I have a different copy for my auction toons).
