Console not working
I have set up innerspace plenty of times before but this time console in wow wont work. Ive tryed everything from deleting the innerspace.xml to reinstalling and patching. Nothing works. Ive even tryed on other computers. I do not get the fps meter or anything. Are there any known problems with enabling/disabling opengl mode?

Wine
I am also using wine however. But since the patcher doesnt seem to like wine I patch on my xp laptop and move the folder over to my linux desktop on a thumb drive
The nature of wine and linux makes it difficult for me to provide support for.
Please see the WineHQ AppDB page, which is maintained by an Inner Space community member:

You may also wish to visit the #isxwow channel on irc.lavishsoft.com for more help from the community, as there are several people that are regulars that use the software under wine. You can use this link to join the channel if you do not have an IRC client (linux examples are X-Chat for gui and Bitch-X for console): http://embed.mibbit.com/?server=irc.lav ... =%23isxwow

Innerspace Menu
Yes. I am launching through the menus using default profile (i also have default profile configured to use warden)
You do not need to manually configure Inner Space to use ISXWarden. After they banned some people last year for using "vanilla" Inner Space, it has required Warden protection and will automatically load ISXWarden. Any guide you have followed that instructs you to add configuration to your startup is using very outdated information.
If Inner Space is not attaching to the game in Windows, I guess I would like to know what version of Windows (including service pack; If you're using Windows XP and do not have SP2 or later installed, it will almost certainly not work). It works perfectly on a clean installation with current drivers and windows updates, it's typically other software (or lack of windows updates) that interferes and prevents the normal operation of Inner Space.
I don't know what to tell you about Ubuntu though, if you can't get it working in Windows I would start there before moving on to wine.
