When you open Inner Space, it makes a connection to the lavish servers to confirm your account, -14 means it could not communicate. If you are not on the internet, it certainly would not be able to communicate.

Are you using wireless on a laptop perhaps? The full meaning of -14 is that you got disconnected from our server after connection. If your connection quality on your network is poor, or your bandwidth is saturated, you may be dropping packets on your local network resulting in an eventual disconnect from our server.

There was a lot of Internet connectivity issues today. Yes, the interweb was broken. And, this probably explains why you had this issue.

The client has auto-reconnect functionality, and will re-try certain operations several times before giving up. It only needs to be connected for between 5-30 seconds if there's no patch for the software you're running (Inner Space).

i have noticed that i get this crap after i turn off my pc and next day i start it again.
If i just let the pc stay on and innerspace is running ( not botting) then the connection is made always!
I'm 99% sure that this is server side!

No way. You are the only person on planet Earth with this problem. If the problem was with the server, everyone on planet Earth would have this problem.

Not the only person. I have started having this problem on my desktop computer after the power went out. It is now the next day and my power and internet have been working for at least 14 hours, but I can't connect to innerspace. I can surf the web just fine and can connect to innerspace on my wireless laptop, just not my wired PC.

Disregard this. I'll make my own post.
