I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I either couldn't post on other sections of this forum or it is locked. I'm a life time member that wanted to update my email address but when I sent an email to confirm this change the link didn't work and I got the message:
The e-mail address confirmation link you followed is invalid (though it may have been valid at one time).
Could I get some help with this please.

So do I reply to your forum post, your email, or both?
I just changed the process for you so that depending on the problem with the link, the message is different. Generally if you click the link you received, it works just fine. However, if part of the link is missing or changed, it will not work. Try again, and if you are still having problems, then let me know what it tells you.

The message I get is this when I follow the link:
The accessed URL is missing information. Please check the link and try again.

Ok I kept trying and was able to follow the link but I had to copy a certain part of the link to my address bar on my internet explorer. You should take a look at the email you send people when we need to verify a change of email address.

The link is just fine. In fact, I'm not explicitly making a link at all, your e-mail reader is. It sounds like your e-mail client is incorrectly breaking the URL when making the link.
