Flashes a couple times at startup, closes, repeats?

I just installed Innerspace, there aren't any extra game addons installed. I double click on the Inner Space icon to launch the program, and a window flickers open twice, very fast, that looks like this:

The icon also flashes in the tray very quickly. It will flash twice, ask for my login information again, and when I enter it, it does the same thing over and over.

Any suggestions what I can do?

P4 3.0GHz
2 gigs of DDR400 ram

Also, it's always that one file it hangs on and tries to download. I've tried reinstalling Inner Space and it didn't help.

someone else reported that earlier as well. Restart IS and it should work fine now
