Post by Finadorm » Tue Aug 29, 2006 2:09 pm

First time i opened my wineq2 and it asked for user id and password.

i typed both in, and a got an -13 error, couldnt verify my details, after that i have realised that i used the wrong password. But i checked "remember login details" box, now i cant get this box up again so i can get the right login details typed in, now how can i fix this ? have tried reinstalling.

If you have WinEQ 2 launched, you can right click on the icon by the clock and select "Lavish Login". If WinEQ 2 is not open, it will try to authenticate with the user info that is saved, if it is unable to do so it will prompt you for new username and password.

Are you saying that WinEQ 2 is not launched and when you try to launch WinEQ2 it still won't give you the prompt?

-13 indicates that the software could not connect to our license server. -13 should never actually be displayed to you these days, it's replaced with a full explanation. Is this an old installation of WinEQ 2? You may just need to run the installer.

Either way, this problem usually indicates that you have a firewall blocking WinEQ 2 from outgoing connections, and WinEQ 2 cannot run without connecting to our server
