Dual Monitor for 2 Boxing Issue

Post by trillo » Thu Jul 20, 2006 2:20 pm

I have 2 monitors on my computer and thought it would be nice to be able to 2 box my wifes character on the second monitor instead of on my laptop. I was hoping I could just move the mouse back and forth between the sessions like the way vmware works but hot keying between them is ok if need be.

I am probably overlooking a setting or something simple, but I can not ever get focus on the session on the second monitor.

I have tried launching it first, and only launching the session on that monitor and am still unable to get focus.

I have tried hotkeys to get focus, and in the Preset I have tried Auto Release toggled as on and off.

What am I missing?

EQ doesnt lock the mouse to the window anymore unless it's in full screen, so I'm not sure what would be stopping you from mousing to the other window. Is it stopping at the edge of the screen or the window? And what's wrong with using alt+tab or the WinEQ session switching hotkeys (ctrl+alt+z/x by default to cycle, or ctrl+alt+1/2 to swap between sessions 1 and 2 by default)?

Sorry, not sure exactly what you're meaning by not being able to focus or whatever. Maybe you mean that you're dragging the window from the primary display onto the second one and it goes insanely slow? (which if this is the case, you actually need to select Secondary display and let it position itself over there)
