I was using wineq2 fine the other day , today I just got a message I have never seen before itsays ...
World of Warcraft Support for wineq2.0 unable to initaliz at this time (-16) Please try again latter.
what is this about after i get that message and click OK wineq2.0 closes .

1) Could not successfully retrive new file LavishPatcher.exe (-16) Aborting patch you may cotinue to use the soft ware.
2) World of Warcraft support for wineq2.0 unable to initlize at this time (-16) please try again latter
after clicking okay the program DOES not load it close itself , no matter how many times I try to re load it it still closes ...PLEASE HELP..

It's interesting that you would be retrieving LavishPatcher.exe, have you not used WinEQ in longer than "the other day"? You may wish to grab the WinEQ 2 download.
Error -16 indicates a timeout while retrieving data from our server. Our bandwidth to you as a pro subscriber is unthrottled, and you would easily be pulling 100k/sec or better while downloading, depending on your internet connection type and ISP. It actually sounds like there may be some packet loss between your computer and our server. You might want to perform a traceroute to lavishsoft.com to see if this is the case.

It's interesting that you would be retrieving LavishPatcher.exe, have you not used WinEQ in longer than "the other day"? You may wish to grab the WinEQ 2 download.

sorry did not mean to post that twice...and I did download the wineq 2.13
and I have been using this for a long time it just stop working and giveing me the eroos yesterday.
so i will delet it off my system and re dounload and see what happensd...

1. What kind of internet connection do you have? I see that your ISP is Embarq, but no further information.
2. What kind of computer do you have?
Error -16 indicates that your computer has connected to our server, received some data, and then it received no data at all for a period of time (45+ seconds) when data was expected. There are 3 possible points of failure: 1. Our server, 2. Any network link between your computer and our server, 3. Your computer. Given that the software works fine for everyone else, this rules out #1, leaving 2 and 3. If the problem is one of the network links, there is generally nothing you or I can do to solve the problem except to simply identify the problematic link, which can usually be done by tracing the route. If the route is fine, that leaves #3, your computer.
To check the route between you and our server, grab the program at this link, and run it: http://www.lavishsoft.com/downloads/trout.exe
When it launches, click on the wide box in the upper right so you can type "lavishsoft.com" in it, without quotes. Hit enter, and the program will trace the route -- when the leftmost icon turns from the red stop sign back to the blue lightning bolt, it's done. The trace looks fine. There's really nothing more I can do to help you find and fix this problem, as it seems to be on your computer or home network. You might want to run virus and spyware scans -- free virus scan can be had from http://free.grisoft.com and Windows Defender is free for spyware at http://www.microsoft.com/athome/securit ... fault.mspx
In all likelihood, something is installed on your machine or on your home network that is interfering with network performance. If you're using a wireless home network, you may want to consider moving the access point or the computer. If you're behind a router, check for firmware upgrades as well.

okay i ran va virus scan as well as a spywear scan and tried running the program again....
I got the following erros.
1) Could not successfully retrive new file LavishPatcher.exe (-16) Aborting patch you may cotinue to use the soft ware.
then I got this new one...
2) Wineq was unable to inializ at this time the connection with the server timed out...please tray again.
any clue?

i am getting same messages
the exact same thing is hapening on my lap top it ran great untill today...on my desktop wineq does fine i have done virus spyware scans i have removed and redownloaded turned off firewalls and turned off and on dep ??? any help
