EVerytime i try to shrink the window down, I loose part of the menus or thing turn up missing.... I star expanding the screen and things return. Shouds EQ2 scale and shirnk like EQ1?

Yes and no. I said last week to someone that I would be fixing this issue this week, but I'll explain what the deal is.
EQ2 is designed from the beginning to be able to be windowed, which means you can freely resize the window, kind of like WoW but slightly different. One of the important differences is that EQ2 does not properly scale down below 800x600. If you take the corner of the window and make it smaller than 800x600, things slowly disappear, you see windows slowly move up and to the left instead of remaining in the same position. And you get this nice black area on the right and bottom. How lovely! I told them about this bug in the first week of the EQ2 release (you can see this bug without WinEQ 2) and it just never got fixed. I guess it's not important to them to have bug-free software.
But, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I will have to redesign parts of the EQ2 support for WinEQ 2, but this can work just fine. I'll be working on this.
