The first thing I see is that you have Windows XP, service pack 1. Any reasons for not getting SP2 on a home computer passed about a year and a half ago, and SP2 has been shown to fix some issues very much like the one you are experiencing. Can you update to SP2?

Now it tells me I have an RTP 0 fail and to report it.

The next time it tells me EQPlaynice was not able to initialize (final stage) and to try again later.

New errors each time :P

I too am getting the failure to initialize in the final stage error.

I have XP SP2, patched up to date, video drivers are up to date and I am getting the same errors as Shauri.

Please advise.

From the other thread you posted on
jadhar, can you post your sysinfo.txt? All sysinfo.txt are going to be very similar, but it's the details that we need in order to help you.

I've been patching to fix some problems several times a day, so shut WinEQ 2 down and let it restart and patch itself to be sure that it's not already fixed. If you have trouble patching, you can try downloading the WinEQ 2 installer and using that again, which will update your files (you dont need to uninstall, and this wont destroy your settings)

This should all be fixed as of this moment. EQPlayNice was not properly handling timeouts, and now it should work fine. Please shut down WinEQ 2, wait a few minutes for EQPlayNice to unload (shutting down WinEQ 2, then opening the Windows Task Manager via CTRL+ALT+DEL, and then immediately closing the task manager seems to force it to unload immediately for me), and then launch WinEQ 2 again. EQPlayNice should get a patch, and it should work fine for you after that.
