You can respond on the same thread you had before, that way it's easier to keep track of the conversation :)

There's two different possible questions you might be trying to ask, and I dont know which you're asking, I'll answer both.

Q: The resolution I pick doesnt stay when I log off and then back on
A: There's a bug somewhere for some people. Basically, EQ stores two separate resolution settings, one for windowed and one for full screen. If you switch between windowed and full screen at any point, it's going to switch between the two resolutions. When WinEQ 2 starts up, it makes EQ use full screen, because the EQ mouse stuff is less buggy when it thinks it is full screen. If you switch to windowed while playing, it's going to save as windowed, but then use the full screen resolution when you start up next. If you don't switch between full screen and windowed (which makes no difference when using WinEQ 2 anyway), you shouldnt have this problem. You can also make sure that EQ is in full screen mode when you go to change the resolution.

Q: I have to move my windows every time I start up EQ, how can I make it automatic?
The trick here is to use PRESETS which can set the positioning of the window, as well as some other characteristics (always on top, border, window scale, and so on), automatically. Once you have your windows in place, you can save them by hitting CTRL+ALT+S. Then you pick a preset to replace (pick the ones that are like Preset 5 and Preset 6, they are unused), and give your new preset a name. Then you can reset to that exact spot later by selecting your preset. You can do so by right clicking on the title bar and going into the Presets submenu. There's two other ways, too. One is to set hotkeys for your presets, which you do through the WinEQ 2 preferences window (under EverQuest, Presets). Another is to set the default preset in your profile (under EverQuest, Profiles). For example, you can change the default profile to use "Split Screen Top" (say you named your first one that) -- it's the 4th option, called Default Preset. Then you can create another profile (make sure to give it a name, or it will not show up in the list), and have that profile set to use "Split Screen Bottom".
