Post by kippoinf » Wed Jan 04, 2006 6:23 am

Well i have lots of trouble now. ANytime i go to log into a second account anything that goes over the one window now blacks it out. ANd if i close one of the windows to bring up a new on the one i close i bring back up and it is black screen and statys that way. Been reading all over trying to find someone who has how to fix this but nothing. Can you please help me with this.

Sorry, meant to reply to this last week. I dont know why it would go black for you, to be honest. I would normally say try updating your video card drivers, but you dont seem far behind. There is a new version of the NVIDIA ForceWare drivers as of December 21, version 81.98 (yours are 81.95). I'd give that a try and see if it helps. If not, see if messing with the client version in the WinEQ 2 preferences for DAOC helps. Try setting it to catacombs or such.

If you cant get it to work properly after trying these things, I dont know what else to suggest. I dont have enough users using the DAOC support in WinEQ 2 to be able to properly be able to tell the difference between something that is a problem for everyone and something that is isolated to a specific person's computer. The main issue with the DAOC support lately is that sometimes when launching it, DAOC will simply close.

So if you cant get it to work suitably just let me know and I can refund your payment if necessary

yeah tis wierd if i put anything over that eq screen ti goes black and i cant see anything. Even the load in screen if it goes over the screen that is already loaded bam that corner or section of it goes black. Well downloading the new driver right now hopefully that will do it:)

Just didnt know id i was setting it up wrong or had something set wrong but ill try it again and let you know. Thanks again once i can get it to work its a great product just not working for me at the moment.

/clientsleep never fixed it for me. When you move between sessions they don't seem to realize that they have focus.
