VS 2005 Debugger starting.

Post by Allroy » Wed Jan 04, 2006 9:05 pm

Hi, I just bought the sotware and I was looking for a fix on the forums but I didn't see a specific fix. If there is one, please let me know.

I installed the software (windq 2).

When I intially start a profile it says I have an unhandled exception (the # varies) and then asks if I'd like to debug it. if I ignore that this screen pops up, the game will function normally.

If I chose no, the game closes.

What's more is if I open a 2nd EQ window, that one will work with no problems, and no bug warning.

Then if I close the first window and open additional windows I have no problems.

If I close ALL windows (after the 2nd one) and then attempt to restart the first session will again call the debugged.

Any suggestions/fixes?

Here's my Sysinfo:

Well, there isnt a fix because it doesnt happen to other people :)

Have you tried shutting down other running programs? Like window blinds? Have you scanned for viruses and spyware? Do you have all of the latest updates for windows XP?

I've done all that except shut down windows blinds. I'll try that next.
Lately the problem seems intermittant though so it's hard to track down.
