Question For anyone.

Post by toptek » Thu Nov 24, 2005 4:53 pm

Does anyone have a way of using WoW in FULl screen mode yet.

I no IT's not supported , but I get no lag in FULL screen mode and in windowed minimized mode in wow or even just windowed mode I get lag and have for some time and posted about it long time ago . ''''

The Problem in FULLscreen mode is it will minimize to the taskbar when ever i try to switch to a toon and the only way i can get that toon up is click the taskbar.
But When i use winEQ I am able to use it in WOW full Screen np.

ONly problem with WINEQ i can not run any scripts.

And I' m not here complaing just looking for a way to use IS in WOW fullscreen mode. :)) I no the lag I get in WOW windowed mode is caused form WoW in that mode.

I no it can be done I just do not NO how. :))

Any help from anyone would be great. :))

Err... there's never been anything wrong with using Inner Space in full screen mode with World of Warcraft. In fact, tons of people do it right now. All you have to do is put the game in full screen mode instead of windowed.

He's talking about using scripts while WoW is minimized.

I'm absolutely positive he's talking about the framerate loss from being in windowed mode as opposed to full screen mode.

Toptek, WinEQ forces it into windowed mode. It's not in full screen mode in WinEQ. You can hit shift+alt+f to get the same EXACT thing in IS.

I'll try to explain it a little clear I think i Didin't explain it right .

IF I uncheck the option in WoW to load in normal or Fullscreen mode ( which ever anyone wants to call it )

Then log on two acounts to one PC . and try to use

bind next - "uplink focus -next"
bind previous = "uplink focus -previous"

The problem Starts here . It will Minmize both seseion to the taskbar in Windows XP and will not switch, then the only way I can play WoW Per acount is if i use the Mouse .

But if I have that option in-game checked it will let me use the keyboard to switch acount.

I made a post about it a yaer ago, but I'm pressed for time or I would link it .

I'm not complaining at all and at that time last year I was told it is was poss .

Just can't remeber the rest of why I couldn't do it then.

something about how WoW resizes and the color's they use are 24 bit .

Any way

What I'm asking is does anyone have a link or setting I can look at to Emulate WoW to use 32 bit color as 24 with IS somehow so i can use Wow in FS or normal mode in WOW with my keyboard and it Won't minmize each seesion to taskbar and force me to use my Mouse to switch session.

I hope I explained it more clear other then taking a Screeen shoot if needed , thats next . :)))

Not here complaing just looking a way To run WoW in normal or fullscreen mode with my Keyboard functing like it should .

Any Help is Welocome. :)))

Is There a way to add a border and always have IS on top like WinEQ does ?.

I think that's the Problem in my case ,I did turn OFF Keep the taskbar on top of other windows . see that may be causing IS not to be on top when I have it in Normal screen or fullscreen in the game setting, not IS.

It still minimizes only when WoW is set to default display Mode.

But the lag is bad set at WoW windowed Mode.

I did figure out ifi click both on the taskbar at the same time they both come up , but when I try these it will Minimize Again .

bind next - "uplink focus -next"
bind previous = "uplink focus -previous"

You can check "Force Windowed" in your WoW profile settings and it should work very much like WinEQ

I'lll try that agian ,but it give me major iusse with how it loggin in gues i need to see how. IT wuold window wrong or I d have three screen someitmes in one using that .

So i guess thats the KEy, in IS I 'll see just how i can use it , becuase when I tried it , it worked, but at that time IS was having issue with the CPU using 100 % of the CPU .

And when that was fixxed , WoW runn good on WoW windowed Mode ,but was still to lagly at times .

Like it is now . at times not always , but it really does work better with WoW at default screen mode in any case playing one acount or two at once .

WoW lag's to much as it is becuase of how many play it and in there windowed mode it does not help in any way . :))

So ill give it a try and go back to Wiki and do some more searching to see if I can set up the IS forced windowed mode any diff to login .

IF I can't figure out something I' ll just wait till I learn more on uplink networking and use IS that way sense all my PC can handle any thing now.
