WindowText=EverQuest ({HOTKEY})
GlobalHotkey=AUTO
EQPath=D:\EverQuest
EQClientINI=.\eqclient-lq.ini
Preset=0
Locale=0
Adapter=-1
Sound=1
Patch=0
TestServer=0
Tile=0
PIP=1
PIPX=20
PIPY=20
PIPBorder=0
PIPScale=0.2000
[Profile5]
Name=EQ5 LQ
WindowText=EverQuest ({HOTKEY})
GlobalHotkey=AUTO
EQPath=D:\EverQuest
EQClientINI=.\eqclient-lq.ini
Preset=0
Locale=0
Adapter=-1
Sound=1
Patch=0
TestServer=0
Tile=0
PIP=1
PIPX=20

It works for me now

Delete or move the WinEQ2 folder (after backing up your ini files), reinstall from the download which will then patch the most recent version when it is run.
Check it runs from a fresh install with new ini files. If that works, exit WinEQ2, copy your old ini files into the WinEQ2 folder and try running it again.

Most important bit is saving your ini files if you dont want to have to setup all your settings again.

Thanks, got it working now.

Backed up ini files, uninstalled/deleted old wineq2, reinstalled from latest packages, wineq2 patches and starts ok. Then copied old wineq-eq.ini back and started wineq2 again and it's working. Maybe some file just had gotten corrupted or something, but it's working now. :-)

I see .dll files but I don't see any .ini files.

Hmm any ideas? or should I just start from scratch. Maybe I just didn't have any .ini files
