Problems with framerate in WoW

Post by jbonebedone » Sun Apr 29, 2007 11:44 am

Hi, i had a subscription a while back and played EQ with this program.

Well, now its time for me to try dual boxing WoW, and I am on the lite version to start to give it a try.

My problem is, when I run 2 instances of WoW and start switching between them, they both get very laggy, framerate wise. However, if I switch to the first instance and then use shift-alt-f to fullscreen mode swtich the framerate is great. I then switch to the second instance and its all laggy until I do the shift-alt-f again and then its smooth as silk.

Is there an option I need to change to make it so I dont have to keep using the shift-alt-f to get my framerate back on every switch of tasks?

Thanks

Right click on the game window's title bar and select Get System Info. Post that here and I may be able to suggest something.

If you're using Vista, you might get better switching performance by disabling Aero.
