Application-level virtualization... for gaming

So, you've probably heard of this application-level virtualization technology, commonly used to 'sandbox' an application, preventing it from being used to harm or access sensitive areas in your computer. This is achieved by adjusting the behavior of the host Operating System with respect to the application. Inner Space works exactly in this way, and by doing so it has become its own fully programmable gaming platform that runs Windows games.

Inner Space is programmable in several different ways:

• LavishScript
  Rapid in-game application development can be done with LavishScript
• LavishGUI
  Graphical user interfaces can be created with LavishGUI, supporting XML and programmable via LavishScript
• C++ (ISXDK)
  Novel functionality can be added to Inner Space with C++ via the Inner Space eXtension Development Kit (ISXDK).
• C++ (LSModule)
  LavishScript alone can be extended (to add new data types, objects, commands, etc without an Inner Space extension) via the LavishScript Module Development Kit (LSModule).
• .NET 2.0-3.5 or 4.0
  Inner Space can also host .NET 2.0-3.5 or .NET 4.0 applications in-process.
