Application-level virtualization... for gaming

So, you've probably heard of this application-level virtualization technology, commonly used to 'sandbox' an application, preventing it from being used to harm or access sensitive areas in your computer. This is achieved by adjusting the behavior of the host Operating System with respect to the application. Inner Space works exactly in this way, and by doing so it has become its own fully programmable gaming platform that runs Windows games.
