network issue,today

I can't access InnerSpace (and www.lavishsoft.com) earliy today for about 4 hours(I also tried going to www.lavishsoft.com from my server hosted at moscow-no success). Traceroute stopped on pos-3.-0.core1.troy2.waveform.net

After I finally got logged in - auth error.
(password reset sequence worked fine)

that was the problem?unsheduled mainteance at lavishosft provider or what?why I was needed to reset password in this case?There is another problem(mine?)

There was a minor power issue at the data center, and our backup server unfortunately was not up to date, so this is probably why you and some other customers may have gotten an auth error during the 1.5 hour outage. As far as 4 hours, I'm not sure where that number comes from

Yeah, I experienced this issue, but it was only for an hour or two. Nothing utterly unbearable. Stuff happens and whats important is Lax had it fixed asap.
