Cannot load EQ2 with default profile.

I just downloaded and installed Wineq2. Got the updates and what not. It is saying "Connection to Lavish Lisence Server failed. The server may not be accessible to you or there is network lag between you and the server."

How can i fix this?

This is generally caused by software firewalls preventing our software from making outgoing connections to our license server. To solve this problem, make sure your firewall settings are not blocking WinEQ 2

Ok that fixed it, i just need to find what in my firewall was causing it.

Nest problem i have is that when i Use Wineq2 to load EQ2, it will not let me readjust the size of the screen to maximum. It is off center on my screen everytime it loads.

Next when i am using more then one program with Windeq2, I have lets say Ventrilo (voice communication) as the active window with EQ2 right behind it. I click the EQ2 window to make it the active window and when i do that it makes it so that when i move my mouse it adjusts the view of the camera. I have to click the screen agani to work properly. This is mainly annoying but still wierd. EQ2 never did that before.

Next when i close EQ2 when load by Wineq2 by clicking the 'x' or right clicking and closing the window when i am done playing for the time being I lose my mouse cursor completely even for Windows until the screen has completely finished closing. I like to multitask and this stops me from doing that. It makes be wait for the screen to close before i can do the next thing.

Thanks

Which one? You posted 3. I don't have an answer yet because they require me to do testing and potentially apply fixes, which I was going to do before responding.

You can always use ALT+F4 instead of hitting the X on the window.

I see that WinEQ 2 is using a window style for EQ2 that disables the maximize button, so I will fix that when I get a moment, BUT I will warn you.. I was in the middle of some changes to the EQ2 support for WinEQ 2, and those changes are not completed. There may be some bugs as a result of me fixing this issue. But, I will have a backup patch of the current version just in case.

And I'll fix the click thing too.

ALT + F4 didn't really work normally with EQ@ but I haven't tried it since using WinEQ2. I will try that for sure.

I wasn't trying to rush you. I didn't know it was a bug / issue. Was merely informing if it required more information from me to help out. How do patches owrk? they downloaded automactically when loading the program after starting my comp?

When lax pushes a patch to WinEQ2, it will automatically download to your computer the next time you start WinEQ2. Also, if there is a patch applied, a changelog will pop up letting you know what was changed.
