1. I log into my system as administrator "winxppro" and anytime i use wineq2.05 and login and tell it to save automatically it does not retain teh information.
2. I love the new presets, I have finally mastered most of what I want to do. The one problem I have is when I have 3 screens up each at .5 size and I try to drag any of them it ld's on me. My real question is there a better way that I can move a window that is up and running in eq1 via an x,y coordinate or something?
3. I have a winxp pro 2 gigs of dual channel ram and a p4 3.0 hypthread with a ati 9600 VE 256mb system I want to try and get 4 toons on at once in a oow zone. Besides unclicking all but 3 of the models can you suggest what other options I should turn off so i will get my best peformance? More of a checklist for quad boxing on a single system?
Thanks again lax for your always excellent support in the past on such matters and the future work your doing.
Some basic questions

1) It does retain the information (in the registry, in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Lavish Software), but any time it fails to connect it will pop up the login box. So if that computer is prone to failing to connect to our license server, it may appear to not save
2) I have no idea why it would ld when you drag it (unless it takes 30+ seconds to drag it), that's weird. Could be some updates you need to do. Anyway, there isn't a way to move a window via an X,Y coordinate aside from presets. You can set the X,Y in a preset, save it, and then use that preset to reposition the window
3) The list of EQ options we've tested is in the FAQ http://www.lavishsoft.com/?p=faq. Really, memory usage is the only thing we can test definitively. With the system described, I cant imagine having performance issues. If you havent turned off EQPlayNice, your relatively slow video card shouldn't even be a problem. The problem is that OOW zones have different requirements than other zones, so I really dont know. People have had luck turning Vertex Shaders off with ATI cards (NVIDIA cards may still blue screen) in OOW zones.
