question: shift-right click not giving me in game options

Post by Feelow Flurries » Tue Nov 23, 2004 11:55 pm

Just a quick question =P.

My isp is from hell, I'am sure of it.My question is, would a bad connection crash wineq everytime I try to alt-right click ?Seems after the last patch I can't seem to access the wineq otions on screen in everquest 1 ?

Mind you even when I log into the game without wineq the game is patchy and laggy due to a packet shapper !

damn joo netenforcer !

Hmm no, crashing if you bring up the context menu is likely something else. Post SysInfo.txt for me

Getting the same error, myself. Ever since the latest patch, shift-rightclick releases the mouse, and locks up my EQ instance.

Hmmm okay, and does the same thing happen if you release the mouse and right click on the window's title bar?

The window's title bar.. where it has the title of the window, generally unless you change it that would be "WinEQ 2.04 - EverQuest (Hotkey: Ctrl+Alt+1)" and is colored blue on most systems.. has an icon in the upper left.. minimize, maximize and close buttons in the upper right.. ;)

If you right click on that, it should bring up the same context menu as would be brought up by shift+rightclick. Also, you are getting the crash window immediately, not locking up, correct? Since DarkSir says he's getting lockups rather than crashing...

I locks up my everquest when I try to shift right click.
With my wineq and everquest I see no window's title bar but if I click on the icon in the toolbar it crashes.
I am sorry I am not much help here.

Will be in sometime tomorrow, I have it fixed and ready to be patched in, but I have a couple other fixes I need to get in as well that will take me some develpoment time in the morning. In the meantime if you want to disable the hotkey so you dont get lockups, just go to the hotkeys page for the EverQuest plugin in the WinEQ 2.0 settings window, and change it to NONE.
