In WoW if someone will all i need is a yes or no please.



Does Wow handle memery like or in the same way as EQ and inceasing the memory in WoW. will that improve frame rate liike it did in EQ .

ill be inceaing it to 3gb in two of the PCs and two mroe 17 inch LCD's
and boxing five toons in WoW.

setting's right now are at 1152x 864 75 hz in game and desktop.

Fps stys at about 15 to 19 /40. memory left is about 21 %
with two tons loged in.


and most of the distance setting are off in the game.

will inceasing the menory improve fps and memory adv.
at those settting ?.

Im gettign the memory any way just wondering if it will acttly improve it.

With more accounts at the same time, memory is definitely a good thing. There's other settings to lower if you want improved framerate, one of the best is actually using a smaller resolution. Unlike EQ where tiled mode gave the same framerate as full screen, WoW actually changes the resolution with the window sizing. So a smaller window = higher framerate. Other than that, lowering texture details and such will probably help
