Alt-F4 doesn't really close window.

Soemtimes when I'm in a hurry I'll Alt-F4 to close a character out. Well I noticed that in 2.0 if you do this and leave the computer on the program never really closes. The character will stay in the game indefintely. If you load a new sesion of WinEQ you will notice the memory still taken up from the closed one.

Also after you've done the Alt-F4 even though it looks like nothing is running. If you pull the plug on your modem, eqgame.exe will crash. Your character will then LD and the memory will free up and everything works as normal.

I've seen this happen once or twice, but to tell you the truth, Alt+F4 terminates the process immediately via windows API the same way it does in WinEQ 1.38. I will see what I can do to solve the problem

I have noticed this on occassion also, i really notice it if i have been playing for extended period of time. i always have eqwatcher on so i still hear all my bells and whistles and sqeaks for chats etc. but i'm not sure how long my toon has stayed active as i have never died or lost time on my buffs.

Normally if this happens i just restart the comp and reboot everything. but if i forget it does get annoying at 4am to here squeaks/sounds of eq while trying to sleep......lol.
