Mouse focus and "num 5"

Post by smg » Wed Jun 22, 2005 1:47 am

After getting the last patch the way that mouse focus works seems to have changed. i used to be able to hover the mouse over an background window and the cursor would update as if it was the active window. eg. i could be playing on one window and could hover the mouse over another window to check if i could loot etc. without having to click that window.

Also the "num 5" keybinding only works with num lock off, whereas num 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9 only work with num lock on.

Yep. Background sessions ignore the mouse as of build 2093 or so. I will change the behavior again in a day or two so that can be optional. The problem is that one way, the people emulating the mouse dont get functionality in EQ2 without it being this way, and you using the mouse manually for background sessions dont get functionality with it this way.
