good idea

it's a good idea about the desktop shortcut but there be another problem for others they may not want another icon on the desktop.



if the intendtion is less on the desktop for only whats needed and easyer use of WinEQ .


can a content menu be put on the right click to edit that profile.


that way no other icon is neded after we make a profile.


but thats a real good idea about a shourtcuts but really creasts another problem of how to edit that profile can with out opening up the DIR if they delete the icon just to make the profile. or a way to eidt the short cut . with out opeing up the dir.

other wise for me its not really problem but amy be for others. and about the in game content menu on the right mouse.

only i dont use the window key that has caused me problem's and others that i talked to in EQ .

i use MS key broard so that key is actlly turned off.

and i can see were that may cuase a few problems for other's in WoW by hiting it by mistake.



Thought id try to explan why a way other then hot keys to start the next session might help not just me but other's .

The optional shortcut creation is absolutely no different from WinEQ 1.38's command line launch system, except that I'm providing an easy method for everyone to use to make a shortcut that opens their game through WinEQ. If you dont want it on the desktop fine, dont use it, it can be dragged to quick launch or the start menu, etc. if you want to use it. The shortcut launches WinEQ 2.0 if necessary, and then launches the game. It's just a quick method to do both rather than first starting WinEQ 2.0, then right clicking on the tray icon and selecting a profile from the list. I really dont know what else to tell you about it, since it's just there for people who want to launch their game from a shortcut. The intention isn't for less on the desktop, just for less work to open the game.

SO any thing i ask will not get done it seems unless its good friend of yours it seems i hate posting things this way . you said ask wht ever happen to good customer service i send player to your site and tel them not say athing about me sending them . i tell others how good this . well if its rude you want well as for the desk top thing wait till someone you personaly gets mads because they set up a icon on the desk top then wirth the wrong setting then have to log off.




you ask im a pian to you all imm trying to do is help and it seems your taking everthing isay the wrong way.



i wish i new more about programing id write one just for me .


and if you think this is giving you repect you have lot to learn im a 50 year old i was a manger for 7 years etc .


sorry i hate to make these could of post you i wll pally not me in the furm now and block the code it iwl just be a set back is all , but i 'm sorry your just a kid have alot to learn about how treat poeple .

Toptek, you took my post the wrong way apparently. I'm explaining that it's no different than 1.38, except that I gave the people an easy way to make the shortcut. What I'm confused about is why this would be something to complain about in 2.0, but not 1.38? It's the same thing

I most have misunderstund what you ment .


I was't complaing just trynig to help out by saying , ssomeeone might run into that problem about short cuts.

I never used it in 1.38 and couldnt firgueout how to get it to work .
( short cuts).


I havnt really havn't done to much command line stuff sesne DOS back in 1986. window 95 came out i didnt have a need to anymore.

as far as commands lines go i only use basic dos commands that i can rember.
