Inner Space not working for me with Vanguard:SOH

I patched build 5241 and added Vanguard, tried to load from IS and still .DLL error crash at Vanguard loading screen after i sign in just before it gets to Character select.

When I first was told about IS, I downloaded IS, didnt run it, downloaded ISXVG and then tried to run IS.

I have been getting the same problem since the beggining, although I did download a few old files from ISXVG to force log in and a few other things.

Would that make a difference?

I have deleted ISXVG totally and tried to load IS without it and still nothing.

I have 2 application of VG on my computer as I have 2 accounts, I try to make IS load from:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vanguard\Vanguard.exe

Don't know if this makes a difference, just trying to give you as much info as possible to help fix it Lax.

Innerspace is running Build 5241.

Forgot to add Running Windows 7 64 bit on both systems. Different hardware specs.

I have also tried new Dev patch but to no avail.

I am sure you have given up on me Lax but I would still like to get this working if possible.

I have been paying for a while now without being able to use the program.

Something new I noticed, not sure if it's patched into IS but I had to sign in for the first time when I started IS after a fresh download and intall.

grab Hijack This from http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-Hi ... 27353.html. Run it and there will be a big button at the top that says "Do a system scan and save a log file" and it should be selected by default. Click that. When it's done after a few seconds it will open some info in notepad. You can paste that here for me or send to lax@lavishsoft.com and I'll see if I can suggest anything

Yeah I don't know what else to suggest other than try to get more information about the actual crash, sorry. I don't see anything of interest in your Hijack This log, it works fine on my PCs, and I haven't heard of anyone else crashing like this.

If you want a refund for your $10 that you spent and haven't been able to use that's fine.

Is there any way I can get a log to post here of VG crashing when loaded through IS?

Any programs I can run while I load it to show me whats going on?

Just to be clear, my PC doesn't crash, only VG and IS.

It just boots me back to desktop, if I click on VG to load up normally via .exe or station launcher depending on which account i want to log in, it works fine.

It just does not like loading up via Inner Space for some reason.

As i said, the only thing I can think of was I downloaded and used a couple of "fix" programs from ISXVG some of which were very old posts and I did all this BEFORE I ran IS for the first time as I was advised to do via a guide for ISXVG.

I have too many thing on my PC to completely format it so any help with programs or something i can run while loading VG and IS to help identify the problem would be appreciated.

It's got me stumped and it's very frustrating to say the least.

You can try looking for details on the crash in the Windows Event Viewer (in Administrator Tools), but we've exhausted pretty much everything I can ask you to do.

Hmm for some reason, following this persons advice on the ISXVG forums helped.

I can now load VG via IS without crashing on my newer account.

I will try my main account when I get more time and let you know how it goes incase anyone else is still having the same issues as me.

Very interesting, and a shame those guys never reported that information to me. I might be able to use that information to duplicate the issue and test a fix
