uh..the file from the link didn't work with my copy of aion on Windows 7

uh... so what?? If you have a problem with Fyyre's hack, you should let him know about it. And I highly doubt he reads these forums. Posting that here is .. well.. stupid.

Version 1.5 of the NA/EU Aion client breaks Fyyre's workaround anyway.

Ok but other people HERE might also go to that link believing it works. So it was a heads up to people here that it doesn't work.

Also, what's with the attitude? The multiboxing community I have encountered so far has been pretty nice. Calling someone stupid for responding to a forum post is kinda uncalled for. Lots of people post to warn others that certain products don't work on forums that companies/ developers may never read, but those posts are intended to inform the audience that reads the forum and not necessarily inform the maker to fix the problem.

Well, it works for the rest of Planet Earth. Nice job with the heads up. You have managed to show everyone that you didn't read the "README".

I know dozens of people who have no problems at all with this workaround and Windows 7.

All you have really managed to do is hi-jack this thread. We where talking about Aion and InnerSpace. My post was borderline but points out that there are workarounds. Your post is completely off topic even if you where completely correct.

Ok well as part of the innerspace community, couldn't you have just pointed out how it works or explained it? I tried following the directions and it didn't work, and your previous post said that the 1.5 broke it, which I thought was true in my case. I have no idea why you constantly try to be rude.

I want to go back to this whole subject about Innerspace and Aion. I noticed that Aion itself allows you to open multiple instances of the game, and even with Gameguard running, I was able to use my g13 keyboard, at least at the login screen. After applying Fyyre's patch, (thanks eqjoe, no sarcasm here honestly), Gameguard no longer appears to load. However, the game itself I found goes through a "launcher."

I was wondering if anyone figured out how to launch the game through Innerspace without the launcher. If so, I would appreciate the help.

same problem, so far as I konw at least 3 more new mmo just released will force you to use ClientLoader.

And I believe all the other new MMO or maybe online games (like Diabl 3)
100% will use ClientLoader. Face it.

For Entropia Universe 10.,it will check MD5 ect.. if you change/hack the exe,it won't start. It doesn't need gamegard, it's just like warden in wow.

So, I believe gameguard will use the same tech. People have to use WPE pro to get the package and setup a FAKE server for gameguard.

In the Aion root directory, there is a batch file that will launch Aion for you. This is the same file called when the launcher exits.

"outofupdate.bat", the contents which are:

start bin32\aion.bin -ip:216.107.243.37 -port:2106

So has anyone gotten Innerspace to work? I got two accounts and can't get it to work. I can launch from Innerspace, but what happens is that it only launches 1 of my characters and not my character set which consists of two people. I would love to two box this game or even 5 box, but I need some help.

Inner Space does not currently work with Aion. It is something I am working on, but I'm not guaranteeing anything

After analyzing our open beta test results Aion will not feature GameGuard at launch. We will however continue to pursue ways to effectively utilize GameGuard within Aion in the future. Right now we're focused on providing players with the best possible Aion experience.

Im actually amazed that NCSoft removed this, to but the users opinions above what tey see as a security feature is rather impressive, even though we all know GG is a POS.
