Hello,
Well, I installed Innerspace, patched it, installed ISBoxer... but, .. just to eliminate an extra possibility of cause for the crash, I just added Everquest 1 to Innerspace, made sure I had the latest EQ1 patch, then I tried launching EQ1 from Innerspace.
The error I get is ... Crash: 0x05DFB7D6: Exception 0xc0000005 reading from address 0x00000044 in module EQGraphicsDX9.DLL.
I tried deleting my eqclient.ini file, but to no avail.
Any clues what the problem could be?
I am running Windows 7 RC1, on my notebook!
Getting a crash as soon as I load EQ1 from Innerspace

Super ridiculous question, but...
.... how would I go about making sure the setting is for Windowed mode?
... and really, thank you so much for the fast response!... it is 1:30am in japan, and I was hoping to play a little before sleeping, hehe, so.. makes me happy =]

Just set the mode to windowed, but I am unfortunately still having this issue!...

The only other thing is to make sure the check boxes in your Character Set that say EQ1 (particularly the one that says "prevent game from repositioning window") are checked.
You get this error when launching EQ1 via Inner Space without your ISBoxer Character Set? If that's the case then it's not ISBoxer related -- Have you made configuration changes through Inner Space or installed scripts other than from ISBoxer? (e.g. from Zanthor's post on dual-boxing.com)

That is correct, I am currently not even using ISBoxer to launch Everquest 1.
I haven't done anything different, like install other scripts... or made other configuration changes. Everything is at its default.. and for some reason, its giving me that error.
I have tried deleting that file that the error referenced, and then re-patching Everquest, ... after which it re-downloads the file... just in case it was corrupt or something.. but it doesn't work. And when I launch EQ1 directly from the actual game client, and not through InnerSpace, it doesn't crash.
So very strange... and I am not sure the cause.
I have also tried uninstalling InnerSpace and ISBoxer, then reinstalling.. but no success.
Is there some method to completely remove it from my system? Like I ran the uninstaller, but .. I wonder if it leaves traces in my system.. that I would have to remove using regedit or something?
Just trying to think of possibilities....
