isxdk extension error

Post by mulisu » Fri Apr 13, 2007 12:16 pm

i have recently installed innerspace and then lavish.isxdk.30a and put it in the innerspace folder under isxdk. i read the instructions and it tells me that i need to configure the ext and path libraries. but i seem not to be on the same page or i am missing something. all the instructions are for configuring visual basic but i dont have that installed and the instructions only lead me to believe that i need to install visual basic. i run innerspace and type from the console ext isxvg and get isxvg could not be loaded. can someone help since i know this is my problem.

TIA

You do not need to install the ISXDK unless you want to create or compile your own extensions. Using ISXVG does not require the development kit.

My question is very similar. I want to compile ISXEQ but I'm using 2005 Express tools and I'm not having any luck. I'm pretty sure I'm correct in using C++ but on the ISMods Wiki I read that it's currently under development so I wonder if that's why I can't get it working.

On second thought I think my whole problem is I need the commercial version to open the solution file I'm instructed to. If anyone has any info about compiling with 2005 Express apps please let me know but I'll just egt the software and come back if I'm still having trouble.

Thank you for your time.
